Named for the doomed General, the city of Custer is teeming with things to do. The hub of the Custer National Park, there are plenty of outdoor opportunities that involve sports, wildlife, and tons of fun. There are also tours, caves, and museums that appeal to many visitors of the Black Hills area. The city of Custer is only 20 miles from Mount Rushmore.
